How much does a website cost in Montreal?
With us, a business website starts at $2,500, a scalable WordPress site at $4,500 and an online store at $6,500 (before taxes). The final price depends on the number of pages, the features and the copywriting. See our pricing page for details.
How long does it take to build a website?
Allow 3 to 5 weeks for a business website and 6 to 10 weeks for an online store. The most common delay is waiting for text and photos: we can write the content for you to avoid it.
Will I own my website?
Yes. The domain name, the content, the design and the admin access are yours. You can switch providers at any time.
Will my website comply with Law 25 and the Charter of the French Language?
Yes. Every site includes a privacy policy, a cookie consent banner and French content. An English version is available as an option. See our Law 25 guide.
Is SEO included?
Basic SEO is included in every website: page structure, tags, speed, structured data, Google Business Profile and Search Console submission. Ongoing SEO (content, links, rank tracking) is available as a monthly plan.
Will I be able to edit my site myself?
Yes. We deliver a site with a simple editing interface and a one-hour training session, recorded so you can watch it again.
Why do prices vary so much from one agency to another?
Price mostly reflects the time spent on strategy, copywriting and code quality. A $500 website is usually a template filled in quickly, with no keyword research and no copywriting. It often costs more in the long run because it has to be rebuilt.
Do prices include taxes?
No, the prices shown are before GST and QST.
What is the difference between a business website and an e-commerce site?
A business website presents the company and generates leads; an e-commerce site lets customers buy and pay online.
Does my website need to be bilingual?
In Quebec, French is mandatory. English is optional and useful if some of your customers are English-speaking or outside Quebec. The French version must be at least as complete as the English version.
Do you work with businesses outside Montreal?
Yes. Most of our clients are in Greater Montreal, but we work remotely with businesses across Quebec.
